The Lake
Lac d'Annecy is so clean you can see the bottom at 12 metres depth. Swimming is free at beaches around the shore. Rent a paddleboard, kayak, or electric boat. Cycle the 42 km lakeside path (flat, paved, spectacular). Or simply sit at a lakefront café and wonder why you live anywhere else.
